Dichroic glass is produced by stacking layers of glass and micro-layers of metals or oxides which give the glass shifting colours depending on the angle of view, causing an array of colours to be displayed. I cap this dichroic glass with a layer of clear glass on top so the bottom layer of glass crinkles slightly in the firing which accentuates the colour-changing effect.
